Who are we?

We are students, in college, high school and junior high, from area churches and schools who believe in the sanctity of life and are committed to spreading the pro-life message to our peers.  

What do we believe in?

We believe that all people have the right to life; therefore, we believe that abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, and any other means of assisted death are murder and should be illegal. We also believe in abstaining from sexual activity until marriage - remaining pure until (and within) marriage.

What was our goal in establishing Students for Life?

We established Students for Life in order to educate ourselves and our peers about today's pro-life issues.

How do we accomplish our goals?

We stand up for the unborn! We are a voice for the voiceless! Grand Traverse Area Students for Life is made up of young people who are a peer support system for each other in which we exchange ideas, and educate ourselves on the realities of abortion and other pro-life topics. We realize that we must educate ourselves in order to educate others. Some of the things we do to help educate ourselves is having monthly meetings in which we discuss pro-life issues in which we discuss how to defend and explain the truth and reality of abortion in our country. We also brainstorm ways that we can reach out to others of the truth. Some outreach activities that our group participates in is the Annual Baby of the Year Contest, Baby Supply Drives, National Pro-Life T-shirt Day, Legislative Day,  Junior Royale Parade, March for Life in Washington D.C. and a local march in Traverse City, Life Chain, Pro-Life Youth Rallies/Concerts, volunteering in local pregnancy care centers, and praying in front of Planned Parenthood.
